FDREPORT is and has been in use in our organisation from early 1993. The product continues to be our primary data gathering and reporting tool for DASD management. There are several reasons for our continued reliance on FDREPORT:

DASD Management Reporting

FDREPORT, a powerful reporting tool that can gather information from a variety of sources, such as VTOCs, catalogs, VVDS, ABR control files and the DFSMShsm MCDS and BCDS. The information gathered from these sources can then be presented in highly tailored and flexible reports (or displayed online), with full control over titles, column headings, sorting, summarising and page breaks.

FDREPORT is designed to report on large amounts of data from various sources without sacrificing performance.
